A lot is possible in terms of location, time and duration. A few hours, part of a day, hours spread over a day to a whole day. Even a weekend is possible. Introduction with theory with beamer presentation, followed by practice outside or just walking outside with cameras. Including or excluding a lunch. From a few participants to a few dozen. During a workshop, basic techniques such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO values and focus are explained. Basis for a good exposure and sharp photo. Composition-related issues such as the rule of thirds, perspective and point of view are also discussed. The workshop can be given with assignments or with explanation during a walk.
