At home in gardens
Since 1998 I have been photographing for Groei & Bloei gardens, garden fairs, garden days, garden flowers, flower arranging and other flower and plant related subjects. Garden flower photos have appeared in magazines such as Tuinieren, Home & Garden, Landleven and some foreign magazines. In 2008 I started with garden and flower photography workshops in collaboration with and in De Tuinen van Appeltern.
Some years ago I started with workshops in the Botanical Gardens Utrecht.
The Botanic Gardens Utrecht is a university organization within Utrecht University and is located at the university complex De Uithof. They serve primarily for university education and scientific research and are a source of knowledge for experts and enthusiasts. Today, nature and environmental education is also an important goal. There is also a small greenhouse with butterflies. And there is a Garden Shop and Garden Cafe.
Fort Hoofddijk, located in the gardens, is part of the New Dutch Waterline.
We start with coffee and tea at 10:00. After a short introduction and a quick explanation of the basics, we get started with flowers, plants and also the butterflies in the greenhouse. At noon we have lunch – not included – on the terrace in the Botanical Gardens.
This workshop is suitable for the beginner and average photographer. Because of the small group, I can give you a lot of attention.
Coffee or tea before the start of the workshop.
The entrance fee of 8,50 euros is not included and must therefore be paid by yourself. Admission is free for Museum Card holders.
Lunch on the terrace of the Garden Café is not included.
After registration you will receive additional information by email. I would like to inform you as best as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.
Book your workshop with the registration-form.
Specially for Dutch photographers I made the website Workshop Natuurfotografie. See www.workshopnatuurfotografie.nl.
