RANTHAMBHORE NATIONAL PARK

Ranthambhore National Park is one of the most well known parks to watch tigers in the wild. Because of the location on the classic tour route Delhi, Agra and Jaipur it is more visited than other parks. The change of seeing tigers up close is very big. In spring the park is warm and dry and tigers are much likely to see near waterholes and lakes to cool of and drink.

SOME TIGERS OF RANTHAMBHORE

Noor (T39)
In the scouting trip in April 2017 Martin saw the tigress Noor with her 8-9 month old cubs. This cubs of this 4th litter of Noor will be 19-20 months old in March 2018 and really big. Normally tigers will leave their mother at the age of two years, so the cubs should still be around with their mother Noor in March 2018. Four hungry tigers!

Arrowhead (T84)

The new 'Lady of the Lakes' Arrowhead was seen by Martin on three gamedrives. Born in the winter of 2013/2014 she was 3 years then. It is said she was seen mating! If successful, there could be cubs around in March 2018!
